The organization states the document is designed to be used by clinical, technician and ergonomics/human factors team expertise.

The 24-page document includes example task scenarios, patient profiles, test measures and several user questionnaires. The organization states they are committed to ensuring that the rapid design of ventilators contributes to saving lives and that all possible human errors are designed out.
